Happy feet travel around the world

Back in 2014, I wondered where I would head to 2015.  Not surprisingly, my feet ended up where they belong....firmly back home in Los Angeles.

2015 was not a great year for me, travel-wise.  Because of the move and everything else that comes with it, I only got to go on vacation once (I'm not complaining, just stating the facts). Because I only had time for one vacation, I knew I had to make it count.  This lone vacation was for a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic for my gorgeous friend Olesya. It was my first time there and I highly enjoyed it - great company and such beautiful beaches.  It was a vacation for the books, for sure!

This year is another busy one for me.  I started off great with a vacation to celebrate another wedding - my brother's (see last post).  Another vacation for the books and yet, none of these destinations are on my travel bucket list!  Here's the updated list (updated in 2014):

1. Canary Islands
2. Maldives
3. Thailand
4. Santorini (ok, all of Greece)
5. Italy - Positano, Florence, Rome, Venice, Vatican City
6. Siem Reap
7. Forbidden City in China
8. France - Lourdes, Paris,
9. Costa Rica March 2014 (yay!)
10. Peru
11. Argentina
12. Spain - all over, not just Barcelona and Madrid
13. Croatia - September 2014
14. Morocco
15. Mauritius
16. South Africa

And my last 4 destinations - Dominican Republic, Bali, Philippines and Vietnam are nowhere on this list.  Sigh.  I should probably get cracking on this list before I head anywhere else.

Oh, who am I kidding?!?  I'll go wherever the wind takes me and I have the rest of my life to work on this list.  If anything, this list will only get longer.  Already thinking of adding Iceland, Ireland and Scotland to the list.  :)

Where are you headed this year???  XOXO

Happy New Year

I know it's almost two months too late for a Happy New Year post but bear with me because although it has only been a couple months into the year, I have been super busy.

This year started off with an awesome vacation my brothers and my travel buddy.  Couldn't have asked for a better way to start the year.  Cheers to the new year!!

Cooper Johnson

Who would have ever guessed that I'm related to this little guy? Isn't he just the most precious thing? I met him for the first time when I visited bucolic San Luis Obispo this past weekend. His dad (my cousin) just came back after a 6-month stint in Afghanistan.

Here's my mom playing with him. My dog, Deuce, is in the background. He had the time of his life running around the open fields. I think he must've thought he died and went to doggie heaven. Lol.

Here I am enjoying one on one time with Cooper. What a cutie (me and him both, hahaha).

Thanks again to the Johnson family for accommodating us. We had a great time!
