3 Musketeers Mint & Chocolate

This might not be the newest commercial but I was excited to see it nonetheless. I love anything mint and chocolate and I can't wait to try this one.

PS. I blame Tivo for not knowing whether commercials are new or old although I wouldn't want to trade my Tivo for anything. I can't even imagine life without my Tivo. okay, enough about that...

Death of Hair Dryer

My hair dryer died a couple days ago. We've been together for almost 3 years - through bad hair days and whatnot. It'll take a while for me to recover from this loss. It was such a great hair dryer.

Bruise

You can barely see it on the pic but I have a pretty nasty bruise on my arm. I had blood taken the other day when I went to the doctor to check my liver and gallbladder. I hope everything checks out fine.

Lunch 4/24/08

I received an email today about Father's Office opening by my house. It made me start craving for a burger and a chocolate shake. Since there's nowhere around the office that sells decent chocolate shake, I ended up getting a cheeseburger and a side salad (so I wouldn't feel as guilty) from out local cafe. I finished the salad and only ate half of the burger. I'll probably have the other half for dinner.

Madster

Junee and I got our hair done this weekend in Torrance. I really don't mind the drive since I get to see her little cutie, Maddy! She's such a big girl now. Pretty soon, she'll be asking her parents to take her to Disneyland with Mya. I want to come too!

Camping!

Wow, I haven't posted in a while. My internet connection was down for a while and I went camping two weekends ago. Now that I'm back to civilization, I can continue where I left off.

Anyway, my family (extended family included) usually goes camping every year. My immediate family hasn't gone in a while. I believe the last trip we joined was two years ago so I was excited to go again this year.

This year's trip was sponsored by the City of LA's Accountants and Auditors Association. My aunt works as an auditor for the City of LA so she invited us along for this trip. The venue was Camp Seeley in Crestline, CA. It's about a half hour away from Big Bear and about an hour and a half away from Los Angeles. It's a new venue for us since we usually go to Lake Perris or Santa Barbara.

It was a fun and relaxing weekend away. If only it lasted a little longer. Here's to the next one!

Mya n Me

**Pic stolen from Karen's blog. Heehee.

While this isn't the first time I carried Mya, this is the first picture taken of both of us. I actually first carried her yesterday morning after being apprehensive about trying to carry her when she was smaller. Babies seem so small and fragile when they're really young that I'm afraid I'll do something wrong and hurt them. Not to mention that my left arm isn't strong enough in case something happens. In any case, Mya is bigger now and she's awake! I actually got to see her awake and illicit a few smiles. Yay!

Great weekend altogether. Thanks again guys! And Karen (since I know you read this blog), thanks for choosing to post this pic. I looked fat in the other ones. LMAO.

Blog Update

I have another blog that deals more with my shopping and fashion obsessions. I want to update and improve it to hopefully bolster readership. I've been thinking a lot about it these past few days and I've realized that the only way to do it is:

1.) to get better blogging equipment (i.e. better and newer laptop - think Mac Air, better camera, etc.)
2.) more time to blog - which is literally unachievable since:
     a.) I work full-time
     b.) I'm starting a business venture
     c.) I go to school part-time
3.) improve my writing - the only thing on this list that I can actually work on

On the other hand, I really don't know if it's even worth going through all this trouble since I don't get paid for writing a blog...I'm just doing it for kicks. Do I see my blog as an income producer in the future? Not so much. I do want to incorporate it in my business venture but that still remains to be seen. For now, I think I'll keep it as it is. I'll continue to update it any chance I get but the overhaul might not be for a while.

**Me and my damn lists...

Another Perfect Dinner at Sushi Zo

The title says it all. Tonight, I had another perfect dinner at Sushi Zo.

Whenever I have a sushi craving, no other place satisfies me more than Sushi Zo. Simple and unpretentious, this place definitely focuses on the food than anything else. You can taste the freshness of the fish with every bite. Some of them literally melt in you mouth.

I'd be there every night if it didn't break the bank. A definite must when you're in the Westside.

Spring Break!

Midterms are over! Spring break! Woo-hoo!

Now, I'm not really the "spring break, woo-hoo" type but I'm really glad I get a short break from school. For a week and a half I get to relax and not think about infancy, toddlerhood, etc. and prescription drugs and sedatives, yada, yada. For a week and a half I can concentrate about my business plans and business research (which is coming along just fine surprisingly). *Sigh* This is the first time that I'll actually be ok with doing work (that's not my regular work or school work) during Spring Break. I'm not bummed about not leaving town for a vacation either. Imagine that.
